The job
For RESON A/S we are looking for 2 SW Development Engineers with international profiles.
We want to expand our R&D capabilities in Denmark especially in the software development domain. You will participate in the core design and implementation of our future multibeam sonar solutions, through close collaboration with software developers outside Denmark as well as engineers and researchers in other functional areas, like firmware, electronics and mechanics on-site.
You will be part of an exciting journey, developing complex solutions for a global market.
Qualifications
You have a relevant educational background – Msc or equivalent - and preferably 10+ years of experience with software architecting, software design and developing.
A research oriented background, later on turned into pure product development experience originated in mathematics, signal processing, acoustics combined with embedded system environments though with PC elements like graphical user interfaces, would be an advantage. It could be from the instrument or similar industrial businesses or most optimal, the marine industry.
You have experience with application of design patterns, architecting, designing and developing real-time applications, and you are an expert in C++ (C++03 and knowledge of C++11).
You are willing to work abroad for short periods a couple of times per year, have excellent oral and written communication skills – at a minimum in English.
You have the ability to identify problems, recommend solutions – and negotiate and execute contingency plans.
You are a teamplayer, are able to develop consensus and move the program forward, with focus on delivering, quality, adding customer value, and you are focused on developing win-win situations. You are of course driven by the software technology, but are also curious about the full product domain, applications and end-users, which you seriously take into account in your work.
