Quality Specialist
As Quality Specialist your responsibilities will be to ensure global QM procedures, as well as securing availability of a relevant set of KPI’s to support the on-going business optimization process.
The job
As Quality Specialist your responsibilities will be to ensure global QM procedures, as well as securing availability of a relevant set of KPI’s to support the on-going business optimization process. You will be responsible for supporting the business objectives through quality data analysis and presentation and you will have a supportive and coaching role.
Criteria’s of success will be your ability to:
- Lead and control the procedures regarding the current ISO 9001 Certificate as this is described.
- Keep strong focus on business improvement. Refine and setup the necessary data capture, identify costly quality issues, support implementation of corrective actions.
- Maintain/improve the current IT based quality system
- Support continuous improvements on operational processes by reporting quality measures/issues on cross functional processes and working standards with respect to the company's business objectives.
- Coordinate changes and secure reliable and updated quality processes globally.
- Performance of audits, internal and external.
Continuous improvements of processes, policies, procedures and cross functional co-operation are critical elements and it is this functions responsibility to ensure that these are challenged continuously.
Qualifications
You have a relevant educational background as well as quality background, you have a strong understanding of business processes from a relevant industry, as well as value stream in a complex manufacturing, selling and developing company in a high tech industry.
You are able to analyze and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, test procedures and governmental regulations.
Furthermore you:
- Are fluent in written and spoken English.
- Have excellent technical understanding of mechanical and electrical components.
- Are experienced with life cycle management, especially New Product Introduction from RD to Supply Chain and market.
- Have strong analytical skills and a structured approach with an overall business understanding.
- Have an open and winning personality, team spirit and good communication skills.
- Are focused, flexible, pragmatic and open-minded.
- Have the ability to define problems, facts based and draws valid conclusions.
- Are assertive and have the ability to handle several projects simultaneously.
- Are operational and get things done.
- Have the ability to work independently and have a high personal integrity.
